June: Creativity

In June, our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) focus will be Creativity. Students will explore how creative thinking helps them solve problems, express themselves, and look at challenges from new perspectives.
You can support creativity at home by encouraging simple, open-ended activities, such as:
Providing choices—letting your child decide how to complete a task or project.
Making time for imagination through drawing, storytelling, building, or role-play.
Celebrating original ideas—noticing when your child thinks differently or tries a new approach.
These small moments help children build confidence, curiosity, and flexible thinking. Thank you for partnering with us as we support your child’s growth and self-expression!
Warmly,
Erin Dunbar
