April: Cooperation

Posted Date: 04/01/26 (09:00 AM)

Dear Families,
During the month of April, our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) focus will be Cooperation. Students will learn how to work together, listen to others’ ideas, and contribute to a team—skills that support success in school and in life.
You can encourage cooperation at home through simple daily routines, such as:

  • Team tasks—doing small chores together, like setting the table or tidying a room.
  • Practicing turn-taking during games or family activities.
  • Talking about teamwork—noticing and celebrating moments when family members help one another.
These small experiences help children build communication skills, empathy, and a sense of shared responsibility. Thank you for partnering with us as we support your child’s growth!
Warmly,
Erin Dunbar
