Update

East Quogue Families,
I hope all is well. As we approach the end of our second month of school, I wanted to take a moment to share a few important updates for the coming weeks.
On Monday evening, there will be a presentation at the Board of Education meeting at 7:00 PM highlighting our 2025–2026 district goals, a review of state assessment data for grades 3–6, and curriculum enhancements planned for the year ahead.
With Halloween approaching on Friday, please remember that costumes should be school-appropriate, and we ask that students avoid masks and prop weapons.
Additionally, we kindly request that families refrain from bringing dogs on campus, as this may pose a safety concern for students.
Looking ahead to November, please note the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 4: No school for students – Conference Day
- Thursday, November 6: Mr. Long Fundraiser to benefit the Wildcat Foundation, beginning at 6:30 PM
- Monday, November 10: Veterans Day Assembly – If you know of any veterans or active-duty service members who would like to attend our ceremony and breakfast, please have them contact me directly.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we move through this exciting time of the school year.
Regards,
Michael Miller
